Kids Council Award Show

On 6 June 2018, the Kids Council Award Show will take place at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. This annual event puts the spotlight on children who have collaborated with organisations. More than eighty organisations have a Kids Council. The children contribute ideas and advice on social and strategic questions.

Three awards

Three awards will be handed out at the Kids Council Award Show. The Innovation Award goes to the best innovation arising from the collaboration between children and organisations. The Buzz Award is for the most visible collaboration, and the Top Award for the most equal collaboration. Only Kids Councils that have made an annual report or video about the collaboration are eligible for an award.

Kids Council

The Kids Council is an initiative of the Missing Chapter Foundation, set up in 2010 by Princess Laurentien van Oranje. Children who participate in a Council contribute to the structural development of the company or organisation on topics such as energy, health, and education. Children’s creative insights inspire the adults they work with, and their powers of imagination offer new avenues of thought, contributing to lasting solutions.
